We are part of:

WELCOME TO THE SOCIAL PROCESSES LAB

We study social influence – through social structures (e. g., groups) as well as through social interaction – relying on self-regulation theories. We seek to understand and predict people’s thoughts and behavior in organizational contexts and in everyday life – with special attention to the effects of digitization. Our research covers topics such as the impact of social power and norms, but also the question what mitigates the impact of stereotypes and conspiracy theories. Beyond this, we recently started to study the effects of artificial intelligence in the context of computer-mediated communication.
